From Southampton to Spurs, former student Ella Morris signed a professional contract with Tottenham Hotspur Women’s Football Club.
While at Barton Peveril (2020-2022), the former Noadswood School student studied Psychology and Sport while participating in the Aspire Programme.
Ella joined the Southampton Women’s F.C. at 14 years old and progressed on and off the pitch to become a key part of the club’s journey to the Barclays Women’s Championship. Since making her first team debut in the 2018/19 season, stepping up from the under-16s, Morris recorded 117 appearances for the club and scored 14 goals in that time.
Ella makes the exciting transition in a 3-year deal with Spurs as a youth defender. Spurs experienced a breakthrough season in the previous Barclays Women’s Super League campaign by finishing in the top half of the table and reaching the Adobe Women’s FA Cup Final for the first time in club history.
Barton Peveril is proud to have played a part in her journey and wishes her every success in her professional football career.
