Barton Peveril Sixth Form College’s Musical Theatre students recently concluded a successful production of Legally Blonde at The Point Eastleigh.
The performances, brought to the stage by second year Musical Theatre students, displayed skills in acting.
Lisa Fernandez-Adams, Subject Leader of Musical Theatre, commented:
Laughter and cheers filled the theatre as the talented young cast brought the beloved musical to life.
Our students tackled the show’s complex choreography, vocal demands, and comedic elements with remarkable energy and a palpable sense of camaraderie that shone through every scene. Their dedication and hard work culminated in a series of unforgettable performances. We are extremely proud of what they achieved and wish them all the very best of luck as they move on to new and exciting things in September.
Katie Bone (Rufus Cast), who played Elle Woods, said, “Playing Elle Woods was both a challenge and a joy, but what made the show truly special was the incredible company. It’s rare to find a group that can easily come together when performing, and I’m so grateful to have been part of this one.“
Jack Fenner (Emmett Forrest – Rufus Cast) added: “Being in Legally Blonde and performing for the final time with my year was an amazing experience. Playing Emmett Forrest was a joy. The cast and crew were amazing, and it’s a memory I will always treasure.”
