Barton Peveril Sixth Form College hosted 22 students from Shazhou High School in China for a week-long cultural exchange programme.
The students from Shazhou High School had the opportunity to immerse themselves in British education and culture, attending classes right across the curriculum, participating in extracurricular activities, and engaging with Barton Peveril students and teachers.

The programme provided a valuable opportunity for both Barton Peveril and Shazhou High School students to:
- Forge new friendships: Connect with students from different backgrounds.
- Broaden their horizons: Experience a different educational system and learn about another culture.
- Develop new skills: Improve their language skills and build confidence.

Mandy Wood, Vice Principal at Barton Peveril, said:
We were delighted to welcome the students from Shazhou High School. This exchange programme provided a valuable opportunity for students to learn from each other and develop a global perspective.
The visit from Shazhou High School was a resounding success, fostering cultural understanding and creating lasting connections between students from different parts of the world.
