After 7 years of curating music together, the 6-piece indie rock band Cascade, featuring students from Barton Peveril, has finally released their first single, “Sail Away With You”.
Meet the band:
- Jacob Dockree (Vocals)
- Samuel Dockree (Keys)
- Vishaan Vohra (Guitar)
- Oscar Lash (Guitar)
- Samuel Williams (Bass)
- Romero Fulcher Cornah (Drums)
The band started in Year 8 at Cantell School, where these close friends, who loved music and playing instruments, got together to cover songs and write their own. They even played at school concerts and events!
Since then, they’ve been working hard, playing gigs at local venues like The Joiners, Heartbreakers, and Stage Door in Southampton. And now, they’re headlining their first show at Heartbreakers on Tuesday 1st April, book tickets here to see them live!
The Barton Peveril students are hoping to pursue music after college and keep the band going for years to come.
“Sail Away With You” is now on Spotify and all the other platforms.
