Barton Jazz Supports Charity Supper

Barton Jazz will be performing at Fairthorne Manor on Friday 10th November to support Hamble Valley Rotary Club’s Charity Supper event. The Hamble Valley Rotary Club is a non-profit organisation that supports charities in the local area.

The proceeds raised at the charity event will be designated to Eastleigh needs such as a domestic abuse refuge, a Young Carers Festival, Food Banks, and additional educational projects.

Attendees will be entertained by lead singer Isla Croll, formerly of Brookfield Community School, and Barton Peveril Sixth Form College students from Barton Jazz, the young musicians of the Hampshire-based College are in the process of applying and auditioning for major conservatoires across the country. 

The theme of the performance will be ‘Songs from the Shows’, guided by Barton Peveril’s Director of Performing Arts, Bryan Postlethwaite.

Isla Croll, an alumna of Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, graduated in 2023 after studying Popular Music Performance and A-Level Music at the College. She has previously performed on the Voice Kids UK in 2020 and released a collaborative Christmas single with Big Bang Films in 2022. She has pursued music, beginning her first year studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Croll continues to write and release songs of the Jazz and R&B genres while also embracing Indie, Country, and Pop as well.
