Barton Peveril Sixth Form College has achieved the position of the best performing Further Education provider for Level 3 courses in Hampshire. This news comes after the government published QAR data (Qualification Achievement Rate) from the 21/22 academic year.
With a 98.9% pass rate, a 91% retention rate, and a 90% achievement rate, more Barton Peveril students complete and pass their courses than peers at any other colleges in the county.
The results of Hampshire colleges can be found below:
|Provider Name||Retention Rate||Pass Rate||Achievement Rate|
|Barton Peveril Sixth Form College||91%||98.9%||90%|
This achievement is reaffirmed by the College’s ‘Outstanding’ rating which was issued by Ofsted in November 2022 across all four key judgments: quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.
Rob Temple, Principal at Barton Peveril Sixth Form College commented on the recent success:
This is another wonderful endorsement of the success students enjoy when they come to Barton Peveril. This data confirms that more learners who start at Barton Peveril complete and pass their level 3 courses, meaning A levels or equivalent, than at all other colleges in Hampshire. In fact, the next nearest college who can better our results is close to 60 miles away!”
