Barton Peveril Sixth Form College hosted its annual Recognition Awards on 8th December 2021.

The Recognition Awards, which have been running since 2017, celebrate the kindness of students and staff in the Barton Peveril community and the positive impact they have on life at the College.

The event is organised by the College’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee who organise a series of annual events to share, promote, and celebrate inclusivity and diversity in the College community and beyond.

Acts of Kindness

Student Counselling Manager, Helen Cunliffe, said:

‘It’s a great opportunity in a busy, pressured world to just stop and pause and highlight the importance and impact an act of kindness, consideration and support can have. I am always thrilled at the response in students nominating peers and teachers, hence why the celebration award has grown in popularity over the years. What a lovely way to the end of term!’
