Barton Peveril Sixth Form College Student’s 11th Release

Barton Peveril Sixth Form College student Isla Croll has released her new single Wondering, a collaboration with producer Adrino Desire. This latest release is The Voice Kids UK semi-finalist’s 11th single.
Croll, who joined Barton Peveril from Brookfield Community School, co-wrote the release with her singing teacher Jordan Lisle and recorded the song at producer Luke Targett’s home studio.
After making it to the semi-finals of The Voice Kids UK in 2020, the Barton Peveril student began writing and recording songs in a makeshift studio at home before working with Targett and his more specialist facility.
So far, Croll’s singles have amassed tens of thousands of streams across platforms including YouTube Music, Google Play and Spotify. Croll’s work has also been featured as record of the week on BBC Introducing and has been played regularly on local and national radio stations.
“So grateful”
As well as recording music and distributing it virtually, the First Year student also performs in gigs at venues across the county including the Concorde Club and at BBC Introducing’s Reclaim Festival in Southampton.
Speaking on her success, Isla Croll said:
“I’m so grateful to be able to continue sharing my music with everyone!”
