Barton Peveril Sixth Form College students receive an economic insight into Climate Change.
On 25th January, 100 students had the opportunity to enrich themselves with a talk delivered by Dr Jana Sadeh, Senior Teaching Fellow in the School of Economic, Social and Political Sciences at the University of Southampton.

Dr Jana Sadeh’s research lies at the intersection of experimental microeconomics and environmental economics, investigating the impact of risk and time on the utility, and preferences that individuals have for monetary and environmental outcomes using experiments both lab and online.
The intention of the talk is engage students about degrees in economics and the impact the discipline has around the world.
Dr Jana Sadeh writes:
“I enjoy visiting Barton Peveril and interacting with their economics students. They have interesting questions and ideas and seem eager to hear about how economics can make a difference in the real world.”
