Barton Peveril Teacher Reaches 100,000 Subscribers on YouTube

Barton Peveril Mathematics Teacher, Jack Brown has reached 100,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel, @TLMaths.

TLMaths reached this milestone on its 10 year anniversary. Within the past 10 years, Jack has created over 3,800 GCSE Maths, A-Level Maths and A-Level Further Maths videos that have helped students all over the world to understand a range of mathematical topics.

Jack has received comments of praise and gratitude over the years from students who have watched his videos in the lead up to their exams.

Jack said the following about his channel:

Essentially I was reinventing the wheel when I started the TLMaths YouTube channel in 2013. There were other maths YouTube channels, but none explained the topics in the way I wanted them explained. So I started making videos tailored specifically for my students to support them in their exams. This has grown and grown and I now have nearly 4000 videos on A-Level Maths, A-Level Further Maths and GCSE Maths. It’s incredible to think that the channel now has 100,000+ subscribers and that the channel has just passed its 10th birthday. There are plenty more videos to make, and I am glad that both students and teachers find the channel useful in improving Teaching and Learning Mathematics.”

Barton Peveril students and staff came together on Monday 17th April to congratulate Jack on his achievement and show their appreciation with a personalised cake that emulated Jack in his Youtube videos.
