Changing disciplines

Sullivan recently transitioned to the sport from Swimming and benefits from the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) at Barton Peveril, which allows him to study whilst competing at a high level.

Barton Peveril Teacher of Physical Education and TASS Dual Careers Coordinator, Alix Christopher, commented on Sullivan’s achievement:

“Matt is a very modest student who has recently changed sports and put a huge amount of effort into the new demands. He has trained really hard for these World Championships and we are really proud of his achievements.”
