Following Ofqual’s announcement that A Level and GCSE students are to receive centre assessment grades, OCR have decided to do the same for students getting Cambridge Technicals and Cambridge Nationals results this summer.
OCR are now committed to making centre assessment grades (CAGs) the basis for Cambridge Technicals and Cambridge Nationals results. Students taking Cambridge Technicals and Cambridge Nationals can now use centre assessment grades given by their teachers, or their final grade OCR calculated, if that is the higher grade. OCR will re-issue results, no student grades will be lower than those we originally issued.
If you took a Cambridge Technical and have a pending offer of a university place or apprenticeship, please contact them straight away. If you need any help from our careers department and/or evidence of your unit grades based on CAGs please contact us.
We will update your overall results on studio as soon as we receive them from OCR.
