Camel trekking across the Sahara, a night spent in a Berber desert camp and a traditional feast under the stars were highlights of a Moroccan adventure experienced by A Level Geography students.
Beginning and ending in Marrakesh, the five day trip took students far beyond the souks and city walls. Excursions included the Todgha Gorge canyon high in the snow-capped Atlas mountains, the scenic movie-location town of Ouarzazate and a desert journey in 4×4 vehicles followed by camel transport over the dunes.
