Barton Peveril’s sportsmen and women have notched up dozens of impressive achievements this term.
Many individual athletes have been in the news. Stephanie Ricketts represented Great Britain in the European Acrobatic Gymnastics in Poland and won a silver and bronze medal. Brandon Foster won gold in an international diving contest in Berlin, Emily Martin won bronze at a diving contest in Singapore. Sally Lorimer, representing GB Youth, is sailing in Australia this Christmas. Izzy Holman is Captain of the GB Horseball squad. Amy Barber is in the Senior Gymnastics national team. Jamie Markwick won the AoC South East Golf qualifying event beating Jack Warren in second place. Tom Nixon has been selected for the Hampshire Rugby squad. Annie Boby bronze medal at the British Judo Championships. Megan Channon won her qualifying badminton event for the AoC South East. Lauren Mackenzie has been selected for the AoC Women’s GB Hockey Squad. Emily Hammond is part of the AoC Women’s National Netball Squad.
