Musical Theatre students from Barton Peveril recently captivated audiences with their performance of Carrie The Musical, staged in early March. The production, known for its challenging themes and demanding musical numbers, showcased the exceptional talent and dedication of the young performers.

The musical, based on Stephen King’s iconic novel, tells the haunting story of Carrie White, a bullied teenager with telekinetic powers. This production brought the narrative’s emotional depth and dramatic intensity to life.
Lucy Mugridge, formerly of Bitterne Park School, said, “It was an absolute privilege to work alongside such a talented cast and to learn from our amazing teachers, whose guidance helped me develop new skills”. (Fire Cast, Carrie)

We are extremely proud of our students’ ability to shine on stage and their work ethic and commitment to making this show and our directorial and choreographic visions come to life.”
“I will forever be grateful for the experience and the wonderful people I got to work with. I will hold the memories our cast and crew made close to me forever,” said Elle Hart, formerly from Thornden School. (Fire Cast, Margaret White)
