Amazing people!

Our students are amazing young adults from a wide range of backgrounds. We celebrate a diverse community and promote an understanding and respect for each other whatever our gender, race, disabilities, learning difficulties, religion, class or sexual orientation.

Broadening horizons

Many students travel considerable distances to get here because a good sixth form education is about more than specialist teachers and first class facilities. They also want a student life that’s friendly, fun and full of opportunities to enrich their studies by getting involved in productions, trips, sport and other activities beyond the classroom.

At Barton Peveril we give you the independence to take ownership of your studies, but don’t just take our word for it. Check out our prospectus and other areas of this website to see what some of our students have to say and get a feel for the wide geographical spread of schools they join us from.

Personal support

During your time at college you will receive ongoing help and guidance from your personal tutor – often someone who also teaches you – together with a student progress manager. You will also have access to a team of specialist support staff responsible for ensuring that your programme includes help with study skills if required.

OUR STUDENTS

“I love the atmosphere at Barton, everyone is polite, teachers are nice and some even funny which gives a light-hearted feel to lessons.”
