At the end of June, 25 aspiring legal professionals from Barton Peveril went to visit the prestigious Gray’s Inn in London. The immersive visit provided students with an invaluable opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the role of a barrister and the training pathway required to enter the profession.

During their time at one of the four historic Inns of Court, students participated in sessions designed to understand the legal world, gaining insight into the daily life of a barrister and the academic and practical steps involved in their legal journey. This experience provided a practical dimension to their studies, broadening their understanding of potential future careers in law.
Christina Christodoulou, Outreach and Career Services Officer, shares:
“The Members of Gray’s Inn are committed to supporting future generations of aspiring lawyers, to help them learn about the law and the profession. We were delighted that Barton Peveril Sixth Form students were able to visit the Inn and learn a bit about what we do and meet some of our inspiring barrister members.”
