From Page to Stage

On Thursday 28th November, the Rose Theatre at Barton Peveril College was transformed into an intimate cabaret setting for From Page to Stage, a showcase of musical theatre talent.  The event featured a group of Year 2 Musical Theatre students performing their audition pieces for upcoming drama school and conservatoire applications.

The audience was treated to an exceptional singing and acting evening, with students bringing characters and stories to life through powerful performances. The cabaret-style seating created an immersive atmosphere, creating a unique and engaging experience for all attendees.

From Page to Stage highlighted the students’ incredible talent and dedication and offered a glimpse into the rigorous preparation required for pursuing a career in musical theatre.

Kate Gildea-Smith, Teacher of Performing Arts (Musical Theatre) at Barton Peveril, was brimming with pride:

The atmosphere in the Rose Theatre was wonderful!  Our Year 2 students poured their hearts and souls into their performances, and the audience was completely enthralled. ‘From Page to Stage’ was a testament to their incredible talent and hard work. We are immensely proud of everything they achieved
