What do you particularly enjoy about being a student at Barton Peveril?

“The careers team at Barton is fantastic. They are always there to support you with any issue or question, no matter how small. I used them so much when I applied to study medicine and everything they did, from personal statement drop-ins to organising mock interviews, really helped me to create a strong application that was ultimately successful.”

What influenced your decision to come to Barton Peveril?

“Open Evenings were brilliant, everyone was so welcoming and the campus was lovely and modern. When I came on my taster day, I was excited to come to Barton and begin studying as, once again, all of the students and staff members were so welcoming and happy to help.”

What are your plans for when you leave Barton Peveril, and what are your future career ambitions?

“I will be studying medicine with the intention to become a doctor working for our NHS. Barton Peveril taught me to work hard and persevere, even when something was tough. I will be able to take this mindset with me to university to help me achieve all that is required in a 5 year medical degree.”
