What influenced your decision to come to Barton Peveril?

“It was a combination of the fantastic facilities, welcoming and friendly staff from the Taster Day (that I ended up getting on very well with through my two years!) and Open Evenings watching the Musical Theatre students that influenced my decision to come to Barton Peveril!”

What do you particularly enjoy about being a student at Barton Peveril?

“I particularly enjoy being seen as an individual and having support whenever it feels needed without feeling like a burden. I always feel like I can go to a teacher for help with confidence and always receive the help I ask for.”

What do you feel like you have gained from your studies?

“I’ve loved being apart of the Musical Theatre family within Barton and have created amazing friendships with so many people I wouldn’t have had the chance to meet if I didn’t take Musical Theatre. Film Studies is one of the most fascinating subjects to take, especially coming from a school that didn’t offer this course for GCSE. I have enjoyed learning about the technical terms of film throughout the years, and also being able to practise how and why my interpretation of a film’s meaning is different to others.”
