What are your plans for after Barton Peveril?

“After Barton I’m hoping to continue studying English Literature at university, and wish to ultimately end up in journalism or publishing of some description. The college’s Aspire program has allowed me to seek subject related opportunities beyond the curriculum, with the chance to hear from industry professionals.”

What have you gained since studying at Barton Peveril?

“The encouragement from teachers across the board to be enquiring, to read around and beyond your subject, has been hugely beneficial. The jump from taking so many courses at GCSE level to the focalised nature of A-levels has been significant, but has allowed me to become engaged at a deeper level with each of my subjects.”

What do you think of the support offered at Barton Peveril?

“The way in which I know I’ll be able to email any of my teachers at any time with a guaranteed response shortly after is brilliant. This has made me much more comfortable for asking for help when struggling, and generally asking questions.”
