What have you gained from your studies?

“After studying Criminology for the first term I was inspired to work in this sector in the future. Sociology has allowed me to look at society in more depth and understand about how things are run, while Law has allowed me to learn new skills, increased my knowledge of law making and developed my essay skills.”

What do you particularly enjoy about being a student at Barton Peveril?

“I enjoy the lessons as they are very interactive and the support is great. I have an understanding of what I would like to do after College all thanks to my teachers and the Careers department.”

What are your plans for when you leave Barton Peveril, and what are your future career ambitions?

“I plan to study either Criminology or Politics with Criminology and hope to go into journalism. Barton Peveril has definitely helped with these aims – I have spoken to, and received support from, teachers and the Careers team.”
