What do you particularly enjoy about being a student at Barton Peveril?

“The atmosphere around College is friendly, which made the transition from school so easy. I enjoy all my subjects and Q-XTRAs, and all the teachers give helpful advice on careers, whether you’re planning to go to university, audition for Conservatoires, or undertake an Apprenticeship after College.”

What are your plans for when you leave Barton Peveril?

“I hope to audition for Performing Arts Colleges, such as Bird College and Performers College, and gain a place on a Musical Theatre course. This would help me gain the training I need to have a career in the Performing Arts industry. The teachers at Barton Peveril have helped me prepare for auditions, with both the practical aspects and the confidence for interviews in later life. The careers staff are also very helpful and easy to get in touch with if you need any advice!”

What productions have you been involved in at College?

“I was involved in the first year musical theatre show “Urinetown”. This was an amazing way to get to know my classmates and see everyone’s talents. The end result was amazing and so professional due to the amazing performing arts teachers and facilities at Barton, and I can’t wait to start rehearsals for our second year show! “
