What are your plans for when you leave Barton Peveril?

“I am hoping to study history at University after College; coming to Barton has really helped me make this decision. After I left Secondary School I had no idea what I wanted to do in the future, but there have been so many opportunities to find out more about universities and other future options, as well as generally within my subject area. I’m really enjoying all of my subjects, and although I’m not sure what I want to do for a career I have amazing teachers and always have people who can support and advise me if I need it.”

What influenced your decision to come to Barton Peveril?

“I had no idea which College I wanted to go to or which subjects I wanted to study but coming to the open days I found that Barton was a welcoming environment and the staff really care about students. The campus is spacious and modern, and I was really impressed by the facilities at the College. At the introductory days I found the lessons very engaging and all the staff were so welcoming. I’m very glad I chose to come to Barton!”

What do you particularly enjoy about Barton Peveril?

“The atmosphere at Barton is always friendly and its always a nice place to be. The staff here really care about students and are always there to help if there is something I don’t understand. There are so many different opportunities organised by the College, whether that’s to help with future plans or just to explore areas that interest me. The quality of teaching is very high and there is always support available if you need it.”
