What are your plans for when you leave Barton Peveril?

“When I leave Barton Peveril I am going to start an Accounting apprenticeship with RSM. My career ambition is to become a Chartered Accountant. Barton Peveril has helped me by providing Employer Fairs and Talks that have inspired me to take this path and learn more about the options on offer after college for people that don’t want to go to university. Enrichment is also a really good opportunity to try something different alongside your A Levels and, in my case learn more about the field I want to go into.”

What do you think you have gained from your studies?

“I have learned to be resilient and manage my time well. I like that my courses challenge me every day, have clear links between them and that they have enabled me to gain an understanding of the science behind things that happen in the world. I always know I can ask questions and that there is extra support available, my teachers have helped to contribute to this positive working environment.”

What do you particularly enjoy about Barton Peveril?

“I think that the facilities and support Barton Peveril have to offer are really good. There are enrichments, trips and talks the College offer that will suit everyone. The careers team are really helpful and arrange events that help us to discover the range of opportunities that are on offer after finishing College.”
