Barton Peveril Sixth Form College celebrates the achievements of its students in the Maths Olympiad for Girls, a national competition designed to challenge and inspire the top female and non-binary maths students in the country.
This year, 27 talented students from the College participated in the Olympiad, joining 4,749 students nationwide. The students worked together to practise their problem-solving skills.

9 students achieved distinctions, and 15 earned merits for their exceptional performance. Elysia Wilson, formerly from Hamble School, was recognised as the top-performing second-year student, while former Romsey student Hannah Leary, the top-performing first-year student, was among the top 150 students in the country.
The Maths Olympiad provides a platform for young women and non-binary individuals to showcase their mathematical abilities and pursue their passion for STEM subjects. Barton Peveril congratulates all participants on their hard work and dedication.
